Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Intelligence & Data Automation Analyst to transform enterprise data into actionable insights that drive strategic, operational, and tactical decision-making. This role combines technical expertise with business analysis capabilities to design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions, data models, dashboards, integrations, and automation workflows.
The ideal candidate will have experience working across modern data and automation platforms, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Snowflake, APIs, RPA, and AI-driven technologies. This individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to improve data accessibility, streamline processes, and ensure data quality, governance, and usability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions to support executive and departmental reporting needs.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into KPIs, scorecards, and self-service reporting solutions.
- Optimize reporting performance and implement data security best practices, including row-level security.
- Develop and support automation solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform technologies, and related tools to streamline business processes and workflows.
- Create automations supporting data ingestion, validation, approvals, notifications, and system integrations.
- Design, build, and maintain data models that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata documentation, and governance standards.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and database objects within cloud and relational database environments.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests and advanced analytical initiatives while ensuring scalability and performance.
- Design, implement, and support API integrations between internal and external systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integration processes to ensure data reliability and accuracy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, present findings, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support for reporting and analytics solutions.
- Stay current with emerging BI, analytics, AI, automation, and data technologies, recommending improvements to reporting and data architecture.
- Support data quality, compliance, audit, and governance initiatives across the enterprise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence, automation, API integration, data modeling, and reporting solutions.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working in cloud and relational database environments.
- Solid understanding of data management, data quality, governance, and reporting best practices.
- Experience integrating and managing data from multiple systems and sources using APIs and automated workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with IT Service Management (ITSM), CRM, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data services, including Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools, data pipelines, and data orchestration technologies.
- Understanding of ITIL concepts, configuration management, asset management, or service management practices.
- Microsoft, Power Platform, Data Analytics, or related technical certifications.
- Experience supporting executive-level reporting, business performance management, and strategic analytics initiatives.
